Indian shooter Esha Singh today broke the world record in the Women’s 25 metre pistol event at the ISSF World Cup in Munich. 21-year-old Esha earned 43 points from a possible 50 in the final to surpass the previous record of 42 points held by South Korea’s Kim Yeji and claimed the gold medal. German shooter Doreen Vennekamp finished second with 38 points, while former world champion Miroslava Mincheva of Bulgaria claimed third place with 31 points.
