Hindustan Petroleum Limited dismisses claims of shortage of fuel in parts of the country

Must Read

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has dismissed claims regarding reports of fuel shortages in parts of the country, including at retail outlets in the Hazaribagh area of Jharkhand. The company has also reassured customers and pilgrims travelling on the Char Dham Yatra route that fuel supplies at HPCL retail outlets in Chamoli district remain normal and uninterrupted, while supplies across Gujarat are also stable and adequately supported.
In a series of social media posts, HPCL said that reports regarding alleged fuel shortages at retail outlets in Bengaluru are misleading and do not reflect the actual supply position across the city. It stated that there is no overall product shortage situation at HPCL outlets.
HPCL further said that the situation is being closely monitored by its regional and zonal teams, and multiple measures have already been initiated to ensure uninterrupted operations and seamless fuel availability. The company said supplies are being dispatched regularly as per dealer demand and the overall situation remains fully manageable and under control. HPCL has urged customers not to indulge in panic buying or rely on rumours and unverified social media reports.
