IPL 2026: Chennai Super Kings beat Delhi Capitals by 8 wickets

In IPL Cricket, Chennai Super Kings defeated Delhi Capitals by eight wickets at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi last night as Sanju Samson slammed an unbeaten 87 and Kartik Sharma contributed with 41.
 
Chasing a target of 156 runs, Chennai Super Kings successfully overhauled the target in 17.3 overs for the loss of two wickets, they made 159 runs. 
 
Sanju Samson was declared Player of the Match. For Delhi Capitals, skipper Axar Patel and Lungi Ngidi took a wicket each. Earlier, Delhi Capitals won the toss and opt to Bat.
 
Batting first, Delhi Capitals made 155 for the loss of seven wickets in the stipulated twenty overs. 
 
Sameer Rizvi with unbeaten 40 was the top scorer for Delhi Capitals while Tristan Stubbs was made valuable 38 runs.
 
For Chennai Supeer Kings, Noor Ahmad scalped two wickets while Akeal Hosein, Mukesh Choudhary, Gurjapneet Singh and Jamie Overton took a wicket each.  
 
Today, Sunrisers Hyderabad and  Punjab Kings will clash at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad at 7:30 PM.
