Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections: Campaigning in full swing with leaders of political parties holding rallies

 
In Tamil Nadu, all the parties are tirelessly campaigning all over the State. AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi Palanisamy is at Coimbatore garnering votes for alliance party candidates including Union Minister L. Murugan. He said that the women’s reservation Bill was implemented when AIADMK was in alliance with the BJP. He said that the Opposition parties are trying to divert the attention of the people by bringing up different issues including the DMK.He said that the second phase of the Athikadavu – Avinashi irrigation scheme will be implemented. Chief Minister of Delhi Rekha Gupta campaigned for the NDA alliance at Avinashi supporting the Women’s Reservation Bill.  DMK Chief and Chief Minister M.K.Stalin accused the Centre of denying the rights of the States and criticised AIADMK General Secretary E. Palanisamy for not taking up the issues of the people of the State.  NTK leader Actor Seeman today campaigned at Nagapattinam.
The Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam led by actor Vijay released its manifesto at Chennai today. The manifesto assured Rs.2500 monthly assistance for women and 8 gram gold and a quality silk saree for women ‘s marriage assistance. He announced a full cooperative crop loan waiver for those owing less than five acres and a minimum support price of Rs. 3500 per quintal for paddy.Rs.4000 as unemployment aid for graduates above 29 years and Rs.2000 for diploma holders.
