Despite the intense summer heat, voters turned out steadily at polling booths across Keralam, pushing the polling percentage higher than in the previous Assembly elections. As per figures available up to 5:30 PM, voter turnout has reached 75.01%. Earlier in the day, polling had already crossed 62% by 3 PM.
While voting has officially concluded in most booths, polling continues in some locations to allow all voters who arrived before the deadline to cast their votes. Only a few constituencies are yet to cross the 70% mark, based on figures recorded up to 5 PM.
