Most Asian stock indices end in negative territory today

Most Asian stock indices ended in negative territory today. South Korea’s Kospi plunged 4.5%. Japan’s Nikkei 225 index lost 2.4%, China’s Shanghai Composite index fell over 0.7%, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index dropped 0.7%, and Singapore’s Straits Times index ended nearly 0.6% down. Major European indices were trading lower today. Germany’s DAX plunged over 2.4%, France’s CAC 40 lost more than 1.3%, and London’s FTSE 100 dropped 0.5% when reports last came in.
