Finland’s President Alexander Stubb has invited indian companies for investment in Finland. He was addressing the India-Finland Business Forum in Mumbai today. He noted that, due to the unstable trade policies of the United States, various other countries are enhancing their trade relations. He appreciated that infrastructure, roads, and buildings in India have improved in the last few years.
Earlier Mr Stubb addressed scholars and students in the University of Mumbai. The Maharashtra government signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with three Finnish companies to modernise Sassoon Dock and transform it into a world-class fishing harbour. The Maharashtra Fisheries Development Corporation has inked an agreement with Finland-based companies Helvar, Mirasis and River Recycle at an event held today in Mumbai.
