ICC Men’s T20 World Cup: Netherlands Defeat Namibia by 7 Wickets

In the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, Netherlands defeated Namibia by 7 wickets in the Group A clash at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, this afternoon.
 
 
Netherlands managed to chase the target of 157 runs in the 18th over with the help of Bas de Leede’s unbeaten innings of 72 runs. Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Namibia scored 156 for 8 in the stipulated 20 overs. Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton scored the highest 42 runs. For the Netherlands, Logan van Beek and Bas de Leede each picked up 2 wickets. 
 
 
In other matches of the day, New Zealand will take on United Arab Emirates at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai from 3 PM, while Pakistan will face United States of America at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo from 7 PM.
