Union Budget roadmap focuses on tribal welfare, inclusive development, education, healthcare, infrastructure growth, and social security, says Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma while addressing BJP workers during a special outreach programme in Krishnapur.

Minister for Tribal Welfare and local MLA Bikash Debbarma on Sunday emphasized that the Union Budget lays down a clear and inclusive roadmap for the upliftment of tribal communities, focusing on long-term socio-economic transformation and equitable development.

Speaking at a special outreach programme organized by BJP 29 Krishnapur Mandal, Debbarma addressed party workers and supporters at the Mandal office, outlining the Budget’s key priorities and their direct impact on marginalized and tribal populations. He said the financial blueprint goes beyond fiscal planning and reflects the government’s commitment to inclusive governance.

According to Debbarma, the Union Budget places strong emphasis on tribal welfare through enhanced investments in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and social security. He described the Budget as a people-centric document designed to ensure balanced development across all sections of society, particularly those historically left behind.

“The Budget is not just about economic numbers. It is a vision document aimed at improving the quality of life for every citizen. It strengthens the foundation of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas by ensuring that tribal communities receive focused attention and sustainable opportunities,” Debbarma said.

He highlighted that increased budgetary allocations for education would help improve access to quality schooling and skill development for tribal youth, enabling them to compete in a rapidly changing economy. Investments in healthcare infrastructure, he added, would improve medical access in remote and rural tribal areas, reducing long-standing disparities.

Debbarma also stressed that infrastructure development under the Budget would accelerate road connectivity, housing projects, and basic amenities in tribal regions, thereby creating employment opportunities and boosting local economies. He noted that such initiatives would not only improve living standards but also promote self-reliance among tribal families.

The minister further pointed out that the expansion and extension of social security schemes would directly benefit the poor, elderly, women, and vulnerable groups within tribal communities. These measures, he said, would provide financial stability and social protection to those most in need.

During the outreach programme, Debbarma urged party workers to actively communicate the benefits of the Union Budget at the grassroots level. He emphasized the importance of awareness campaigns to ensure that eligible beneficiaries fully utilize government schemes meant for tribal welfare and inclusive development.
