IMD Forecasts Cold Wave, Dense Fog in Several States; Heavy Rain Likely in Tamil Nadu

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast cold wave conditions today in parts of Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha and Punjab. According to the Met Department Bihar is likely to experience a cold day on Sunday. Dense fog conditions are expected over parts of Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand during the next 2 days. The Weather Department further predicted heavy rainfall and thunderstorm conditions till tomorrow over parts of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.
