Since the BJP-IPFT coalition government came to power in Tripura in 2018 a total of 24, thousand 33 jobs have been already given, said Information and Cultural Affairs Minister Sushanta Chowdhury.
He said more jobs are already in the pipeline.
In a press conference the ICA Minister said, during this government’s period the Finance Department has sanctioned a total of 41 thousand 949 jobs. Out of this, a total of 24 thousand 33 jobs have already been provided in different departments including regular, die-in-harness, contractual, outsourcing.
The recruitment process for the rest is under process.
The Minister said that out of 41 thousand 949 jobs approved by Finance Department, 17 thousand 687 are regular posts. Out of this 8 thousand 812 regular posts have already been filled. In addition, the recruitment process of about 5000 posts of JRBT, 6000 special executive posts, 3000 TET posts, 1000 police constable posts is under process.
At the press conference, the Minister said that the statistics of the Finance Department showed that only 13 thousand 657 people were given jobs in regular post during the previous government from 2013-2017. But the opposition parties in the state are misleading the people of the state by continuously providing false information about the present state government job offers. Therefore, the Minister urged not to mislead the people of the state by providing false information about job offers.
The minister also did not miss the chance to slam the opposition for their campaign that the present government failed to provide jobs to the unemployed.
