The Bhartiya Janta Party has raised questions over the seat-sharing arrangement within the Mahagatbandhan. Criticising the Mahagatbandhan, BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad said, there are 243 seats, and the alliance is contesting on 255 seats. He termed this alliance very weak.
BJP leader Pratul Shah Deo said that the opposition leaders’ personal ambitions are so high that every leader wants to become the Chief Minister. The BJP leader accused the Mahagathbandhan of not doing anything for the development of Bihar. He said the NDA has made it clear that they are contesting the elections under the leadership of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
