In Badminton, star Indian Men’s Doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty advanced to the semi-finals of the Denmark Open.
The Indian pair, winners of the BWF World Championships bronze medal earlier this year, defeated unseeded Indonesian duo of Muhammad Rian Ardianto and Rahmat Hidayat 21-15, 18-21, 21-16 in quarterfinal last night.
The duo will take on Japan’s Takuro Hoki and Yugo Kobayashi in the semi final today.
However, Lakshya Sen crashed out of the tournament after losing to seventh-seeded Frenchman, Alex Lanier 9-21, 14-21 in in the Men’s Singles quarterfinal.
