IMD Predicts Heavy Rainfall in Parts of South India; Thunderstorms Likely Till October 17

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places over Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Mahe, South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal today. According to the weather agency, places over Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Mahe, Konkan, Goa, Maharashtra, Odisha, South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and Telangana are also expected to experience thunderstorms and lightning today. Similar weather conditions over these regions are likely to continue till the 17th of this month.
