US President Trump Praises PM Modi’s Leadership, Expresses Optimism on India-Pakistan Relations

 
US President Donald Trump has praised India and called Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘a very good friend’ during his speech at the Sharm el-Sheikh Summit in Egypt yesterday. President Trump called India a great country with a very good friend of his, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, working at the top. Trump said Prime Minister Modi has just done a fantastic job. 
 
 
President Trump also expressed optimism about relations between Pakistan and India. Mr Trump said he thinks that both countries are going to live very nicely together. His remarks came after the signing of the historic peace agreement to end the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza.  President Trump’s statement comes days after Prime Minister Modi held a phone call with President Trump to congratulate him on the success of the historic Gaza peace plan.
