Super Typhoon Ragasa made havoc in Taiwan, Hong Kong, the Philippines and South China by destroying infrastructure. 14 people died and 18 were injured in Taiwan due to Typhoon Ragasa. It continues to batter Taiwan’s eastern, northern and southern coastal areas, bringing heavy rainfall. Four people lost their lives in the Philippines, as it halted life in the southern Chinese. In China’s Guangdong Province, classes, production, public transportation and business operations were suspended as the typhoon Ragasa approached. China’s National Meteorological Centre has issued an orange alert as the typhoon is expected to bring heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds. Ragasa is moving gradually away from Hong Kong but continues to lash the city with hurricane-force winds.
