In Women’s cricket, India set a target of 293 against Australia in the second ODI played at Chandigarh today. Smriti Mandhana scored 117 runs in 91 balls. From the Australian side, Darcie Brown took three wickets in eight overs. India is looking to make a strong comeback in the second ODI of three match series against Australia.
India, led by captain Harmanpreet Kaur, is looking to level the series 1-1. Australia secured a convincing 8-wicket win in the first ODI, leading the series 1-0.
This series holds significant importance for both teams as they gear up for the upcoming ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025, which kicks off on 30th of this month co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
