The government yesterday clarified that no order has been issued to lift the ban on TikTok in India. Sources from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology said that any such statement or news that claims the unblocking order for TikTok in India is false and misleading. The clarification came amid reports of users being able to access TikTok’s website homepage in India.
