Over the past six months, the Election Commission has taken several initiatives which aims to streamline and improve the electoral process. In a statement, the poll body said that these initiatives span around engagement with all stakeholders, strengthening and cleanup of electoral systems, enhancing use of technology, ease of voting, purity of electoral rolls and capacity building. The commission said that twenty eight such new initiatives were rolled out which includes Delisting of inactive Registered Unrecognised Political Parties, hundered percent Webcasting at Polling Stations, Special Intensive Revision in Bihar, Training of Booth Level Agents appointed by Political Parties and training of Booth Level Officers and Supervisors in the National Capital.
