Traditional Holy Mace, Chhari Mubarak to reach Holy Cave, Anantnag by 9th August

The traditional Holy Mace (Chhari Mubarak) will leave from Srinagar towards Anantnag, to reach the Holy Cave by 9th August. On this day, the Yatra will culminate in line with religious traditions coinciding with Raksha Bandhan. Under the leadership of Charri Mubarak Custodian Mahant Deependra Giri, the Holy Mace (Chhari Mubarak) will leave around 11 O’clock from Dashnami Akhara Temple in Srinagar today, to arrive at Surya Temple, Mattan in Anantnag, where bhajans and kirtans will be performed. From there, the Chhari Mubarak will proceed towards Pahalgam at 3:00 PM.
