Normal weather in Uttarakhand; Bailey bridge operational on Yamunotri Highway

As the weather remains normal in Uttarakhand today, efforts are being made on a war footing to clear the roads blocked by landslides in the hilly regions. Meanwhile, the Bailey bridge near Ojri on the Yamunotri National Highway in Uttarkashi District has been operational for the movement of vehicles. It is noteworthy that on June 28, a portion of the highway near Ojri was washed out due to a landslide.
 
Meanwhile, the Met Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rainfall at isolated places in Dehradun, Rudraprayag, Chamoli and Bageshwar districts today.
