In United States, 15 people were hospitalised after a skydiving plane veered off the runway and crashed into nearby woods during takeoff at Cross Keys Airport in New Jersey. The Federal Aviation Administration said that the crash occurred as the Cessna 208B aircraft was taking off from the airport. The plane, which was being used for skydiving operations, had 15 people on board at the time of the incident.
Meanwhile, Gloucester County Emergency Management declared the situation a mass casualty incident.
The FAA has launched an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
