The government is set to start a crop-wise campaign from Thursday to increase crop production. Talking to reporters in New Delhi today, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, the crop-wise campaign will start with Soybean from Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He said, during the campaign farmers, scientists and stakeholders will sit together and discuss to increase the production of Soybean. Mr. Chauhan added that after soybean, the meeting will be held to increase the production of cotton, sugarcane and oilseed crops.
