On Friday the state government ordered transfer and new postings of 17 police officers as part of the ongoing overhauling of the department. Sources said within two days some more officers, mostly TPS, would be shifted to their new postings. Only one day ago there were transfers of 34 officers.
Those who have been transferred or relieved from their additional charges include :
1) Sanjay Roy (IPS) , commandant of TSR 12th and 10th battalions , has been divested of his charge of 12th battalion and shall be posted as commandant of 10th battalion TSR,
2) Ranaditya Das (TPS Gr-1) holding the charge of deputy commandant TSR 2nd battalion has been transferred as commandant in charge of 12th battalion,
3) Rajdeep Deb (TPS Gr 1) holding the office of assistant commandant TSR 8th battalion has been transferred as additional SP Khowai,
4) Mina Kumari Debbarma (TPS Gr 1) holding the charge of DSP West district has been transferred as additional SP Khowai district,
5) Mihir Lal Das (TPS Gr 1) holding the charge of additional SP (SB) has been transferred as additional SP south district,
6) H.F.Darlong (TPS GR 1) holding the charge of additional SP crime branch has been transferred as additional SP Gomati district,
7) Vanneiliana Darlong (TPS GR 1) holding the charge of DSP (HQ) north district has been transferred as additional SP Unakoti district,
8) Kamal Bikash Majumder (TPS GR II) holding the charge of SDPO Mohanpur has been transferred as DSP (special branch),
9) Kamal Krishna Koloi (TPS Gr II) holding the charge of office of the SP as DSP has been transferred as SDPO Mohanpur,
10) Sourav Sen (TPS Gr II) holding the charge of DSP (serious crime) has been transferred as SDPO Kanchanpur ,
11) Dhruba Nath (TPS GR II) holding the charge of SDPO Udaipur with additional responsibility has been transferred as SDPO Kailasahar,
12) Chandan Saha ((TPS Gr II) holding the charge of SDPO Kailasahar has been transferred as SDPO Udaipur with additional charge,
13) Raju Reang (TPS Gr II) holding the charge of SDPO Karbook has been transferred as SDPO Manu,
14) Gamanjay Reang (TPS Gr II) holding the charge of SDPO Kumarghat has been transferred as SDPO Karbook,
15) Kamal Debbarma (TPS GR II) holding the charge of SDPO Manu has been transferred as SDPO Kumarghat,
16) Dashi Ram Reang (TPS Gr II) holding the charge of SDPO Gandacherra has been transferred as DSP Dhalai district,
17) Bapi Debbarma (TPS Gr II) holding the charge of attached to SP (Gomati) office has been transferred as SDPO Gandacherra.
