AIFF condoles death of former Vice President Atuo Mezhür –

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) condoled the death of former AIFF Vice President and Executive Committee member, Mr. Atuo Mezhür, who passed away earlier this week. Atuo Mezhür was one of the foremost administrators of the game, having not only served as an office bearer of AIFF but also as the President and General Secretary of the Nagaland Football Association, the President of the Nagaland Tennis Association, and the General Secretary of the Nagaland Olympic Association. He was also the chef de mission for the India Under-19 national team that won the Ian Rush Trophy on their tour of Northern Ireland and England in 2004, and for the India Under-21 national team’s tour of Mauritius in 1998.
