Asad Alam Siam appointed as Foreign Secretary –

 
 
The Bangladesh government appointed Secretary Asad Alam Siam, who served as Bangladesh Ambassador to the United States, as the Foreign Secretary of the country, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In September last year, the government appointed Jashim Uddin as the 27th Foreign Secretary of Bangladesh. On May 23, this year, he left his responsibilities as the foreign secretary, and since then, Secretary Md Ruhul Alam Siddique has been carrying out the routine works of the foreign secretary.
