The Karnataka High Court has granted conditional interim bail to Royal Challengers Bengaluru, RCB marketing head and three others arrested in the recent Chinnaswamy Stadium stampede case. Justice S R Krishna Kumar ruled they cannot remain in jail in the absence of any material to establish their personal involvement in the events that led to the stampede. The interim bail entails various conditions that the petitioners must cooperate with the probe, not tamper with any evidence and execute a personal bond of one lakh rupees with two sureties. They were also asked to deposit their passports before the trial court within two weeks of their release
