The National Capital, Delhi, experienced strong winds on Saturday evening, resulting in a change in the weather. According to India Meteorological Department-IMD, Delhi along with Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh, will witness light rain along with thunderstorms and strong winds till 4th of June. IMD has forecast Heavy to Very Heavy Rainfall at isolated places of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura tomorrow. According to IMD, thunderstorm, lightning and gusty winds speed is very likely to be expected over Kerala, Mahe, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh till 04th of next month.
The weather agency has said that Lakshadweep, Saurashtra, Coastal Karnataka and Kutch will witness strong surface winds at isolated places. The weatherman said that there will be a rise by about 2 degree celcius in maximum temperatures over Northwest India during the next 24 hours.
