Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jitin Prasada today inaugurated the new unified headquarters of the Quality Council of India (QCI) at the World Trade Centre in New Delhi . Prime Minister Narendra Modi also hailed the inauguration of the new premises of QCI in a message. He wrote that the QCI plays a key role in promoting and implementing quality standards across vital sectors such as education, healthcare, environment, governance, infrastructure and other areas that have a positive impact on people. He added that the QCI will have a vibrant environment that fosters productivity, innovation and well-being of its employees with its own premises. He also stated that the new premises will also serve as a hub for collaboration and oversight and help in maintaining close coordination among various teams, leading to quicker identification and resolution of issues.
