Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha directed high ranking officials of the state administration on rapid completion of developmental works taken up for welfare of the people of the state. He said, sincere cooperation of employees of all levels is essential to implement the work plans of the state government. After taking over, the Chief Minister attended the first conference with the high-ranking officials of the state administration at the Secretariat today.
Chief Secretary Kumar Alok welcomed the Chief Minister with a bouquet. The officials of every department elaborated about previous and present developmental programmes under their respective department.
The Chief Minister also directed Transport department and Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs department to keep watch so that supply of daily commodities is continued as road and rail connectivity of Agartala and other state has been affected due to natural calamity. Apart from that, the Chief Minister also enquired about different issues.
Principal Secretary L. H. Darlong, B. K. Sahu, Secretary of Industries and Information department Dr. P. K. Goyal and other Secretaries, Additional Secretaries were present during the conference.
