Union Health Minister and BJP National President Shri JP Nadda, along with Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, visited the Mata Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur today. They offered prayers and sought the blessings of Maa Tripura Sundari for the well-being, happiness, and prosperity of the people.

During the visit, Nadda reviewed the progress of development initiatives under the Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Augmentation Drive (PRASAD) project. This initiative aims to enhance the temple’s infrastructure while preserving its rich cultural heritage. The high-level delegation included Member of Parliament Rajib Bhattacharya, MP Dr. Sambit Patra, MLA Abhishek Debroy, MLA Jitendra Majumdar, former Union Minister of State Pratima Bhowmik, and senior state officials.

Upon arrival, the delegation was warmly received by the District Magistrate of Gomati district, Tarit Kanti Chakma, who provided an overview of the ongoing projects. The modernization efforts include improved facilities for devotees, better infrastructure, and preservation of the temple’s historical significance.

The visit highlighted the BJP leadership’s commitment to spiritual tourism and cultural heritage conservation in Tripura. The leaders expressed hope that these initiatives would attract more pilgrims and contribute to the state’s overall development.
