Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu visited various border areas of Mohanpur subdivision in the West Tripura district today to inspect developmental projects and review security measures.

Accompanied by District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar, BSF IG AK Sharma, 104th BSF Battalion Commandant NS Jamal, and Mohanpur Sub-Divisional Magistrate Subhash Dutta, the Governor toured several key locations.

At the BSF camp in Taranagar, he assessed accommodation, food facilities, drinking water supply, and security infrastructure. He praised the Border Security Force (BSF) for its crucial role in safeguarding the nation’s borders. Later, at Joy BSF Camp, he examined firearms used by BSF personnel and received a briefing on their functionality.

The Governor also visited an irrigation project in Bijoynagar, which supports agriculture in the border area. He interacted with self-help groups and local residents at the Ishanpur Gram Panchayat office, discussing government schemes like PM Kisan, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Har Ghar Bijli, and Jal Jeevan Mission.
