All borders of the Union Territory of Chandigarh have been sealed, and a police force has been deployed in the wake of the march of protesting farmers.
Chandigarh Superintendent of Police Geetanjali Khandelwal has said that policemen deployed on the barricades at all the borders of Chandigarh are vigilant.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Jaswinder Singh of Chandigarh said that no untoward incident has been reported so far.
