The achievement in public healthcare: Three Ayushman Arogya Mandirs in North Tripura—Bilthai, West Panisagar, and Makumchhara—have been awarded the National Quality Assurance Standard (NQAS) certification. This recognition highlights their commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services.

The NQAS certification is granted to healthcare centers that achieve a score above 70% in the final assessment while meeting essential quality benchmarks. The certified sub-health centers operate under the Panisagar Sub-Divisional Hospital and Laljuri Primary Health Center.

Established in 2012, Bilthai, West Panisagar, and Makumchhara Ayushman Arogya Mandirs have consistently worked to improve primary healthcare services. Their recent certification by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare highlights their adherence to quality standards.

The healthcare personnel at these centers include:

  • Bilthai Arogya Mandir: Community Health Officer Rupali Nath and MPW Tapan Nath.
  • West Panisagar Arogya Mandir: Community Health Officer Soma Das and MPW Ananta Chandra Nath.
  • Makumchhara Arogya Mandir: Community Health Officer Sunil Debbarma and MPW Rahul Deb.

Following a detailed inspection, a central health ministry team confirmed their compliance with national standards. Dr. Dipankar Bhushan Debbarma, Sub-Divisional Medical Officer of Panisagar, and Dr. Sayan Bhattacharya, in charge of Laljuri PHC, congratulated the staff for their dedication.

The Department of Family Welfare and Disease Prevention released an official statement commending these healthcare centers for their excellence in service.
