In Mumbai, seven Bangladeshi nationals, including four women have been arrested for allegedly staying in the country without valid documents. According to a police official, they had been residing in Mahul, Chembur, for almost five years.
The RCF police station official said, the accused admitted that they are from Bangladesh and had been staying there without valid documents since March 2020. He further stated that they have been charged under relevant acts and that further investigation into the case is underway.
