Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat today inaugurated a state-of-the-art gallery on climate change titled On the Edge at Science City, Kolkata.
The minister said the government, scientists, as well as common people, should share the responsibility of protecting the environment. He emphasised the role of the campaign Ek Pedh Maa ke Naam, which was started by the honourable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. He said the central government has planted 80 crore saplings in the last 10 years.
