Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu, while inaugurating the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of Fatikroy Higher Secondary School on Saturday, urged students to embrace India’s rich cultural and historical heritage as a source of inspiration.

Speaking at the event, the Governor highlighted the importance of Indian traditions and their timeless values. “Indian tradition teaches us about the power of patience and endurance,” he remarked. Applauding the legacy of Fatikroy Higher Secondary School, the Governor praised its pivotal role in providing quality education to generations of students. He expressed hope that the institution would continue to uphold its reputation and contribute to shaping the future of young minds.

The event, held at the school premises, was attended by several dignitaries, including Animal Resource Development Minister Sudhanshu Das, who reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to improving educational standards. “The government has prioritized quality education and has taken numerous initiatives to enhance school infrastructure in Fatikroy and other parts of the state,” Minister Das said. He also encouraged students to balance their academic pursuits with active participation in social and extracurricular activities to become well-rounded individuals.

President of Unakoti Zilla Parishad, Amalendu Das, and President of the Fatikroy Higher Secondary School Management Committee, Neelkant Singh, were also present at the occasion, reflecting on the school’s 75-year journey and its contributions to the community.

The Platinum Jubilee celebration saw students, teachers, and alumni come together to honor the school’s legacy. Various cultural programs were organized to mark the event, with performances highlighting the region’s cultural diversity and historical significance.

Governor Reddy’s call to students to draw strength from India’s epics and history struck a chord with attendees, emphasizing the need for young people to stay connected to their roots while striving for excellence in education.

The celebration concluded with a promise from the school’s management and faculty to continue their efforts in providing holistic education and nurturing the next generation of leaders for Tripura and beyond.
