Earlier, the Indian team defeated Germany 2-0 in the fifth to eighth place playoffs yesterday.
Meanwhile, the Indian Women’s team can only finish at seventh or eighth place after losing 3-0 to seven-time champions England in their fifth to eighth-place playoffs.
The Indian team will face France in their final match of the tournament today, which will start at 3 PM IST.
