Union Health and Family Welfare Minister J.P. Nadda today said that no stone will be left unturned to achieve the target of a TB-free India.

Addressing an event after launching the nationwide 100-day TB eradication campaign from Panchkula, he said the TB eradication program will prove to be a milestone in making the country tuberculosis-free by 2025. The Union Minister said that strategies have been changed, and now all efforts are being made to eliminate the curse of TB.

Mr. Nadda said that TB patients are receiving the benefits of the Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. He said TB patients are being given 1,000 rupees per month. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and Health Minister Kumari Arti Singh Rao were also present on this occasion. The campaign has been launched in 347 districts of 33 states and union territories. The campaign will focus on detecting TB cases, reducing delays in treatment, and improving treatment outcomes, especially in high-risk groups.
