Within two days of closure of Visa and other consular services in Assistant High Commission in Agartala following the security breach Dhaka has summoned the Agartala mission head Assistant High Commissioner Arif Mohammad. He will reach Dhaka by tomorrow.
Besides Assistant High Commissioner of Agartala mission Sikder Mohammad Ashrafur Rahman, minister (political) and head of chancery at Bangladesh’s Deputy High Commission in Kolkata has also been summoned by Dhaka. They will have important meetings with the Bangladesh foreign ministry officials. It is not yet clear whether they would return to their respective mission again.
