The actor said, Our female writers, [Abigal] Barlow and [Emily] Bear– they took this idea of female empowerment and what that means, and how important that is for Maui, the demigod Maui himself, to now, not sing about himself, but more so take Moana and tell her, You can do this.
In the first Moana film, Dwaynes character Maui sang the song Youre Welcome, which was enchanting.
Moana 2 is all set to release in cinemas on November 29 in India in English and Hindi.
