Bhubaneswar/Kolkata/IBNS: Several trains have been cancelled and normal lives stare at disruption as cyclone Dana is set to make a landfall in Odisha early on Friday, media reports said.

The cyclone is expected to make a landfall with a wind speed of 100-110 km/hr and peaking it to 120 km/hr.

The Odisha government has displaced 10 lakh people from 3,000 villages across 14 districts and relocated them to relief camps.

Apart from Odisha, its neighbouring state West Bengal is set to be affected. Heavy rainfall has already started in the state.

The governments in both the states have closed educational institutions.
