Telangana Governor and former Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura, Jishnu Dev Varma, inaugurated the ‘Gram Diwas’ celebration in Uttar Brajapur, Charilam, on Friday. Organized by the Gramonnayan Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited, the event paid tribute to senior citizens for their contributions to the village community.
Addressing the gathering, the Governor underscored the significance of Gram Diwas in promoting rural development and fostering social unity. He emphasized that the celebration transcends political differences and aims to strengthen bonds of love, cooperation, and solidarity within rural society.
The event witnessed the participation of key officials, including Sepahijala Zilla Parishad Sabhadipati Supriya Das Datta, local leader Rajkumar Debnath, Bishalgarh SDM Rakesh Chakrabarty, and Charilam Block BDO Krittika Saha.
