In Macau Open Badminton, India’s Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand exited the championship following a loss to the Chinese Taipei pair of Hung En-Tzu and Hsieh Pei Shan in the women’s doubles semi-finals, today. The 23rd-world-ranking pair of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand went down to their 54th-ranked opponents by 21-17, 16-21, 21-10. The duo’s loss also brought India’s challenge to an end in the competition. Earlier, Kidambi Srikanth was also knocked out in the quarter-finals of men’s singles, last night.
