The Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) declared the eagerly awaited final results for the TCS/TPS Gr-II Officers Recruitment Examination 2024 on Thursday evening. Out of the total selected candidates, 30 individuals were chosen for the Tripura Civil Service (TCS) Gr-II, while 10 candidates were selected for the Tripura Police Service (TPS) Gr-II. The School of Science, a renowned institution in Agartala, saw an impressive 25 of its students clearing this prestigious exam.

Among the TCS Gr-II recruits, 20 out of the 30 positions were secured by students from the School of Science. Similarly, five out of the 10 positions for TPS Gr-II were also bagged by its students, further cementing the institution’s legacy in preparing students for competitive exams.

The top rankers from the School of Science include Sagar Datta Majumdar, who secured the first position in TCS Gr-II, followed by Sagarika Majumder in second place, Nilanjana Bhattacharjee in third, and Rajatsubhra Kar in fourth. Other notable achievers in the TCS Gr-II include Rupam Debnath and Abhishek Chakraborty.

In the ST category, Salka Mary Debbarma ranked first, followed by Manojit Debbarma in second place, Nipam Chakma in third, and Sandeep Debbarma in fifth. Among SC candidates, Ratnadwip Das, a former student of the School of Science, claimed the top spot, while Binoy Das secured fourth place. Regular students Moutushi Das and Pujaita Sarkar ranked fifth and sixth, respectively.

In the TPS Gr-II category, Debojyoti Sinha, a former student, ranked first. Other successful candidates include Anupam Majumder (third), Arghyadeep Laskar (seventh), and Rajdeep Das (ninth).

With this year’s achievements, the total number of TCS/TPS Gr-II achievers from the School of Science has reached 209. The institution has also produced 995 successful candidates in TET-I, TET-II, STGT, and STPGT, along with 2,145 achievers in various other exams like TPSC (Combined), SSC, and bank exams.

The Principal of School of Science, Shri Abhijit Bhattacharjee, congratulated the successful candidates, lauding their dedication, hard work, and perseverance.
