The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has confirmed that the first-ever women’s Test match will be played between India and England in 2026 at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground.

In a statement on their website yesterday, the ECB’s Chief Executive Officer Richard Gould said that he is delighted to confirm that India Women will return in 2026 to take on England Women in the first-ever women’s Test match at Lord’s.

Mr Gould said that it will be a truly special occasion and one of real significance. Meanwhile, the Indian Women’s Team will also be on an England tour in mid of next year to play 5 T20Is and 3 ODIs.
