The valedictory program of the 20-day “Karyakarta Vikas Varg” of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was held at Seva Dham, Khayerpur, East Champamura in Agartala, Tripura. The Karyakarta Vikas Varg of the Assam Kshetra, which includes Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, and Assam, began on May 18 at Agartala Seva Dham and was inaugurated by Umesh Chakraborty, Kshetra Sanghchalak.

A total of 152 trainees, 30 trainers, and 41 various functionaries participated in the camp. Swayamsevaks from Manipur, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal, and Tripura participated as trainees. This was part of 14 Karyakarta Vikas Vargs held across the country.

In today’s concluding program, Ratan Debnath, a prominent businessman from Tripura, was present as the chief guest. The Varg Sarbadhikari Shri Pradeep Saikia, who is also the Sah Prant Sanghchalak of Uttar Assam Prant, was also present. The Assam Kshetra Pracharak Shri Vasishtha Bujarbarua was the chief speaker at the ceremony.

Debnath expressed that every person should dedicate a portion of their time and income to serving society. Vasishtha Bujarbarua, while explaining the real meaning of our nation Bharat, said that the word Bharat means knowledge and to get indulged in it.

Thus, the meaning of the word “Bharat” refers to a country whose citizens consider attaining higher knowledge as their sole mission. The objective of Bharat’s existence on earth is to impart true knowledge to mankind worldwide. Bharat plays the role of “Vishwa Guru,” never intending to be a “Superpower.”

He said the sages of Bharat have, since time immemorial, contributed greatly to the world with valuable scriptures filled with ultimate wisdom. Bujarbarua stated that the West considers the whole world a market, whereas Bharat equates the world to a family. “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,” thus say our ancient Rishis. Our social system focuses on transforming man “from Nar to Narayan,” while Western civilization is obsessed with the concept of a “materialistic man.” He concluded his discourse by emphasizing the role of RSS in upholding the great legacy of Bharat to ensure the world and its people coexist in peace and welfare.

The Sangh functionaries, Swayamsevaks, and a large audience, including numerous dignitaries from various districts of Tripura, attended the closing ceremony and witnessed different physical demonstrations like drills, Yogasan, and Niyudh.
