Union Culture Secretary Govind Mohan has emphasised that art and culture will be an important element in India’s journey towards becoming a Viksit Bharat. Inaugurating the four-day festival namely Samagam Art Fest at India Habitat Centre in New Delhi on Thursday, Mr Mohan spoke about the role of art in society and the need for its patronage. He also touched upon the aspect of start-ups in the field of art and culture.
The Samagam Art Fest 2024 features art exhibitions, film screenings, and workshops. The art exhibition features 46 emerging and established artists from across the country, showcasing a diverse range of artistic expressions and techniques. The festival will conclude on Monday.
