The government has taken up plans to set up Nephrology section in the AGMC which will have modern infrastructure and specialist doctors so that the kidney patients can get treated in the state itself rather than having to go outside, said Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb at a blood donation camp organized at Dukli Community Hall by Badarghat Mandal.
In the beginning of the programme, Chief Minister along with other guests paid floral tribute to the image of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee and Bharat Mata. The Chief Minister in the programme said, health safety of the people is the prime sector for the government. The first successful open-heart surgery is a unique example of it. Besides that, even if the surgery cost was expensive, that was done completely free of cost as the patient had an Ayushman Bharat Card. Besides open-heart surgery, other heart-related surgeries were performed successfully. It was possible to tackle the Covid-19 spread with the timely and proper management of the government.
MLA Mimi Majumdar in the programme said, the developmental plans of the government are being implemented throughout the state. The government is earnestly working towards ensuring rights of every citizen and that every service is delivered to them. The Chief Minister later visited the farm land where organic farming is being practised with the initiative of Dukli Panchayat Samiti. Others present in the blood donation camp were TCA President Dr. Manik Saha and Purvaudaya General Secretary Niti Deb.
