In Assam, suspected ULFA ( Paresh Baruah ) faction ambushed a vehicle of Assam Rifles at Namdang area in Margherita bordering Arunachal Pradesh this morning.
Defense sources said that one person of Assam Rifles was injured and he has been airlifted to Jorhat for treatment. The Assam Rifles team has also retaliated but details of injury or casualty are not known yet. Senior police officials have reached the spot.
